Pia

Pia has experienced natural health practices since her earliest childhood memory. This interest led her to study pharmacy at the Federal Institute of Technology in Zürich (Switzerland) which involved a great deal of training in herbal medicine. Her desire to do research and to work practically led her to study for a PhD after which she came to London to continue her work in biomedical research at Imperial College, King’s College and University College London.

Having worked on many basic principles of human physiology and disease, she was keen to combine her gained knowledge with an approach using more natural therapies, which led her to study at the College of Naturopathic Medicine, London where she completed a 3 ½ year diploma course in Naturopathy and Acupuncture/Traditional Chinese Medicine which was complemented by study and training in the outpatient Acupuncture department of the Jiangsu Provincial Hospital of TCM, Nanjing, China. Pia is a member of the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC) and the Association of Naturopathic Practitioners (ANP). You can find out more about Pia if you visit her personal website.
